Is this just a compilation of OGL monsters?

Still, I think it would be very useful for those of us that run epic games. There's a distinct shortage of epic monsters out there.

and if I recall correctly, the guy who put this together found there was a lack of ogl epic monsters as well :D

*plugs the d20 wiki, which has a largish number of epic monsters for DM usage*

I mean, if you're just looking for epic monsters and characters... although, it does depend on the level of epic you're looking for. One man's epic is another man's barely competent. Level 21 or level 121.

I think I would actually have to say that there is a lack of OGL monsters that...

1) Aren't crippled by obsfucated OGC declarations
2) Are developed to there potential (ie. I gave the monster 40 HD but I don't like the epic rules so I'm just going to give him Toughness (x8) to round out his feats.)

Still there a lot of good epic monsters available like the The Inner Circle's Legends of Avadnu. Jeffrey J. Visgaitis was kind enough to allow us to bring all the Legends of Avadnu monsters to print for the 1st time. It a great book and The Inner Circle was a great company to work on in this regard.

They are one of many good companies that have made the production of these books possible.
