Epic smacking ??

But I always wonder the same thing whenever I read a smack-down, and that is this:

Does anyone's DM actually ALLOW these kinds of things to take place?

I know for sure that my DM would find a loophole, or make one, if ever any one of us tried to use a smackdown of this magnitude on him. At least the SECOND time we tried it.

And you know what? I would'nt blame him.

Good job though.

Well, the Smackdowns are fun, certainly. But you have to remember that what is good for the goose is good for the gander. /If/ the DM would allow such a thing, then the players better watch for it too.

Mine do.

U know, Righteous Wrath of hte Faithfull only gives one extra MELEE attack not and extra ranged attack. Phew that's 38 less ranged touch attacks.

It seems to me that Epic smacks are a bit to easy to pull off compared to low level smacks.

I mean 40 points of damage in one round at say level 2 or 3 is impressive. At level 32 its probably less damage than you do with a single attack with no spells up.

I agree with the division system. High level smacks are easier to pull off because of the increased resources. The Epic level book looks like there will be single feat "smackdowns".

"However, damage reduction from spells, such as stoneskin, does not confer this ability."
