Epic Uncanny Dodge for Prestige Classes

...whose Uncanny Dodge doesn't increase after level 10 (e.g., Assassin, Shadowdancer).

That is, I'm confused as to how this interacts with multiclassing.

Normally, when - say - a Rog10 adds Asn (Assassin) levels, these Asn levels add to his Rog levels to determine his total Uncanny Dodge ability.

But do Asn levels in excess of 10 continue to be added to Rog levels this way?
That is, does a Rog10/Asn15 have Uncanny Dodge as a Rog20 or as a Rog25?

I'd say that probably you would benefit of only 10 "stacking levels" of Assassin, if the PRCl says you don't further progress in Uncanny Dodge after 10 levels. I can't see why it should be different...

The only use for having Epic Uncanny Dodge would be what level you need to be to flank someone, right?

If thats the case I say go ahead and let them stack.

At worst I would give you 1/2 your Epic Assassain levels, just like the level bonus to Death Attacks (and all other Epic PrCs actually)

Still, I agree that, for the purpose of determining who can still flank you, the total level should be used; my issue is only whether it should stack for the purpose of a bonus vs. traps (which I think it shouldn't).

Since progressing epicly after the 10th level of the PrCl does not increase that bonus more, I think you are right that neither you can count the total level above 10 to stack it with another class and get the same increase.

Ah! Completely forgot the trap bonus thing.

I'd probably let them stack anyway, I'm a big softie like that.

At worst I'd give them only 1/2 levels for stacking purposes. Of course I never considered the Trap Bonus that big of a bonus, and that might be influencing my descisions.
