[EQd20] I love Everquest d20

I love this game, it is an excellent addition to any d20 library. The work put in to it is excellent, and I feel it has a quality, a feel that D&D lacks.

It certainly excited me to make a cleric! I converted a cleric I played on Dark Ages of Camelot. I was sad to see that Barbarians can't be Clerics, but human is ok. I got most of my Cleric's abilities down, and he rocks. I love this game!

One of these days, I'll have to break down and buy it. I like Everquest, although I like Dark Age of Camelot more. Seems to me this could be nice for a sustained Diablo II (a world I think is awesome for a game, btw) campaign. And yes, I know there's a Diablo book out, but I don't like it.

Still waiting for the other core books, but I'm enjoying the notion of **evil** PCs. I've definitely had to make some changes to the usual "good guys save innocent village" adventures, but am coming up with some enjoyable ideas.

Dark elves and trolls and ogres, oh my!

I think that on its own, its a solid game but think that its a mistake to advertise it as 100% compatibile with 3rd edition rules. Too many variants, some of the them big ones, to make it fully compatibile without some loss in one of the games.

I'm dying to see how they do monsters through because if that is 100% compatibile, my players will know even more fear! (Tome of Horrors anyone? :D )
