Er, I think DriveThruRPG destroyed my computer...

Actually that is a component that Internet Explore has a handle on... I've had corrupted Internet Explorer files cause the same problem.

Is that a fact. That would explain why it tells me Internet Explorer had a problem. Actually, Internet Explorer has *never* worked right on this machine for some reaosn.

I tried running that path (with the "run" command in the start tab) but it told me it couldn't find the file.

What if I try downloading the latest version of internet explorer (much as I despise the program)? Would that help?

Thanks!

I installed the latest version of Internet Explorer, and now everything works great! Yay! And I kept my ebooks, too.

Good to hear that you were able to get everything back up and running.
Blame it on the mcirosoft conspiracy....hmm, although the DRM installation probably didn't help.

Cant say I've ever seen ActiveX component installation cause a crash (and I've been doing this for a while now). Not saying it isnt possible (with PCs, esp Windows, anything is possible), just can't say I've seen it.
Grazzt...someone who is at least tolerant of ActiveX/Microsoft...kind of makes sense to me. I think I have a new plot line for my Spycraft game.
