Errata Reference Sheets

First Post
Hey all,

Recently, like many people, I've gotten interested in figuring out a better way to manage errata among my players. Printing out 20 pages per book and the getting the players to either memorize it or check with it before they do anything seems a bit much. The issue with the current errata documents is that they're just too big. A page or two in each them could probably be summarized in one line.

I've started to create a set of errata reference sheets for PHB1. It briefly explains all (or at least I'm pretty sure all!) the changes in 3 pages worth of text. It's organized by Races, Classes, etc and each power change has its corresponding level beside it. The only power cards I had to completely reprint was Magic Missle and Infernal Wrath.

Giving players 3 sheets to keep with a book is much more reasonable I believe. Additionally, everything is sorted so they can quickly find any changes they need to know about for their next level, etc. The essentials changes in the next month or two will probably bring this to 4 pages.

Some feedback and suggestions on my first draft of this would be fantastic. As all of this information is freely available on the Wizards website, hopefully there is no problem posting this.

Oh and additionally, if something like this already exists, please link to it!

Update: Quick fixes
Update2: Page length fix

This is a good idea as most players usually skip past the reason behind the change and just look at what has changed for their character. YMMV

The formatting of your document is looking alright at the moment, but you might want to look at the image quality of the 2 powers as they are really blurry. Also there isn't any separation between the columns so some of the paragraphs from the first column are touching the paragraphs from the second. Looking good so far, hope your players are finding it useful.

Hey thanks for the feedback (same to the guys who commented on the original post!). I think the dip in image quality is due to some compression that OpenOffice does when converting to PDF, I'm just going to use larger images for now. It's not crisply perfect but more legible than the original images. The original attached PDF has been updated with bigger images and column spacing.

My goal is to complete the books that I own myself (core 3, AV1, AV2, DMG2). Some of it looks like its not going to be very fun but I'd like to have this kind of thing for all my books. Figure I'll have it all done just in time for the additional essentials errata. I guess this is a bit of an OCD thing but, trying to resolve inconsistencies at the table can be a huge pain.
