I can use my Unarmed strike with two weapon fighting?

Monks have innate TWF with unarmed strike (martial arts). when you take the attack action with an unarmed strike or monk weapon may make an unarmed attack as a bonus action using your modifiers. So taking the TWF feat is completely wasted unless you want to use a weapon for the 2nd attack instead of unarmed.

Hmmm. Might have been easier to just write that magic weapon cannot be cast on unarmed strikes. Is there any other issue with Unarmed Strikes as weapons?

They are listed in simple weapons doing 1 damage with no special qualities.

This. Unarmed strikes are on the weapons table, therefore per RAW the unarmed strike is a weapon. There could easily have been a line in the Attack action description that provided for the 1 point of damage for an unarmed strike, but it was instead listed among the weapons. It is not light, nor finesse, but it is a weapon attack.

Not as of yesterday! Errata happened.
