Error in Dungeon Master's Book?

I recently bought the Dungeon Master's Kit and noticed an error on page 263 of the Dungeon Master's Book for the 'Precise Wand of Shock Sphere' with the flavor text saying "Wielding this wand, you display deadly accuracy with @@".

What is @@?
Is it an error or is it supposed to mean something else?

It's an error. 4E is a wonderful system with many wonderful books, but the editing has been atrocious since day 1.

No problem. Most errors are pretty minor and are things like "(See Page XX)" that will make you face palm, but hey it's still better than the average national newspaper article.

Some more serious mistake:

Heroes of the forgotten Kingdoms: flavour text of spinning blade master in no way matches its mechanical effect. Not in the widest sense.

Those other missing replaced "Page XX" is just forgetting to compile a second time to have the program find its references after having last minute erratas. (Or of they lack a program that does this automatically, someone who replaces those XX or in your case @@ by hand.)

@@ reminds me of the good old days with White Wolf with dozens of references in each book to "pg. XX" Now we only see a handful in each book.

You all mock these companies' poor editing, but that's only because you don't know that it is illegal in the United States* to do global searches for "XX" or "@@" before submitting final copy.

*It must be, right? Otherwise there is really no excuse....

As someone who has been responsible for catching those for a game company, it is SO easy to miss them. You often can't do them until the very last minute, as the page numbers are changing throughout the process, and when you're scrambling to post the final file and can barely keep your eyes open because this is the last huge push before you're finished, it's really easy to let these get by.
