I had this problem with the one ESD I bought. Since I have a laser printer I just fired the thing off anyway, but I did complain and I got a message back from the president of Bastion. Apparetly they have a to-do list for correcting ESDs, which is good.

What's frustrating about that kind of thing is how easy to fix it is. If I had access to the original I could have fixed the text, too, but here's with a 30-second Photoshop cleanup to fix the graphics in your original.

I agree 100%!

And with Photoshop's macro capabilities, they could batch process it with very little effort. Pretty inexcusable really...

Is it ok to ask you now and then about the quality of a particular ESD (if you have it)?

Text recognition. It's what lets you actualy select the text (After a fashion) in a PDF instead of it just being a .gif file.

Yes, It would be better if all ESDs were that way. Selecting text from most of them is a real pain.
