Essential Monster update to the Adventurer Tools

Hi,
I've seen this question asked before and the general consensus seems to be that if/when the new MV stuff is added they will be added alongside the existing things.
Offically speaking I don't think WotC has accepted their is anything wrong with the orginal MM monsters so there is nothing to fix. Those in the MV are just better designed.*
I don't mind having more variation in the monsters I use so i'm not too bother (i've already jury rigged fixes for most of the MM1 monsters I use). If you have the time and inclination it isn't too difficult to fix up old monsters.

Either way, any essentials monsters likely won't be updated in the current adventure tools program. The monster builder is being redone as an online only application, thats where you'll find the monster vault monsters eventually. The old program will probably never be updated again.
If this upsets you, you can look through the 50+ threads complaining about the situation when they did the same thing with the character builder. It may give you some consolation.

Will they update MM1 to MM3/Essentials monster damage? Doubtful.
Will they update the original adventure tools with Essentials monsters? Almost certainly not.
Will Essentials monsters (as well as MM1-MM3 monsters, etc.) be in the forthcoming online adventure tools? Probably.
Frankly, as much as I would love to see official updates to the MM1 monsters in the new adventure tools, I also think that their time is better used elsewhere, especially since I think it is fairly easy to adjust the current monsters if I want to. About the only official updates you might see (and no guarantee here) is where an Essentials monster stat block contradicts an MM1 (or other previous release) monster stat block. In those cases I could see them putting in just the Essentials version. (i.e. an Essentials wraith could replace the MM1 wraith and thus no MM1 wraith in the online tool).
