Estes is *NOT* dead!

Before the last board upgrade, there was a post in the General section about how, after 9/11, the Hazardous Materials shipping fees for model rocket engines had put Estes model rockets out of business. (If anyone can search for the old thread, and link to it here, then Thanks!)

Anyway, just a note to let anyone who cares know that it's *NOT* true! Estes is alive, and still marketting, at least to educaters! Here's a link:

I had no idea anyone ever thought they were dead. The hobby shop where I buy alot of my gaming stuff has a huge selection of Estes rockets, and Michael's Crafts has them as well. I look at them on occasion, and think of the number of times I had to climb on the roof or up in a tree to retreive my rockets.
