- MOST POPULAR PLEDGE: $130 + S/H for the PDF and print versions of the book and GM screen and board game
- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? Are you a fan of Voltron’s Lion-era? Do you want to roleplay as one of the five Paladins of Voltron each forming a portion of the famous giant mech? For children of the 1980s, Voltron recycled animation from the Japanese series Beast King GoLion for an American audience. From those beginnings came several versions of Voltron, most focused on Lion-based mechs. This TTRPG covers many of the Lion-era Voltrons, providing rules, enemies, and stories. The game uses a 3-die dice pool system where you have base dice that may be raised to a higher die or lowered to a smaller die depending on your character and situation. If you’re a fan of Voltron and interested in a preview of the game, check out the campaign page for a free PDF of the quick start rules.

- WHY SPOTLIGHT THIS CAMPAIGN? When talking about sequel movies that are superior to the first entry, those lists always contain Empire Strikes Back but few mention Evil Dead 2, and that’s the movie that elevated the Evil Dead into a franchise, giving it un-life. Turning to the roleplaying game, which is based on the Evil Dead sequel/remake, The Evil Dead 2 RPG Supplement offers 250 pages of survival horror rules, settings, and adventures. Offering “deadite possession, supernatural corruption, and even a splash of PvP paranoia,” you’re going to need a chainsaw hand and a boomstick to deal with the horrors headed your way. Spinning out of the license for their recent Evil Dead 2: The Board Game Deluxe Edition, Lynnvander Studios’ RPG combines the next level production values of the board game with new 5e subclasses, a Deadite Corruption System, limb-loss and grafting systems, and a whole lot of demons. If Evil Dead 2 or 1980s survival horror is your bag, download the free Kickstarter preview off of the campaign page to see if this game is up your alley.
