Ethereal Jaunt & Blinking

Hi,

If someone has cast Ethereal Jaunt on themselves and someone in the same room has a ring of blinking active. Can the blinking person see and attack the person who is Ethereal Jaunting and if so is it a 50% miss chance for both parties involved?

i say yes they can see each other and they can both attack with a 50% miss chance

From here the blink spell description, I would say that each can attack each other at a 20% miss chance. The character in the ethereal plane can always see the blinking character, but might miss if he swings while the blinker is material. Likewise, the blinker can see the ethereal character, but might turn material on attacking, doing nothing.

At least I am assuming that striking a creature on the ethereal plane is the same as striking a creature on the material plane for the blinking character.
