Etherscope: An Age of Industry, Intrigue and Imperialism

I'm willing to jump in on this one. I've been wondering when an Etherscope PbP would pop up.

As a side note: Karl, what was the fate of our Iron Kingdoms game? I'd be interested in picking it back up.

Sounds good. Once we start getting PC backgrounds and basic sketches, I think we can start forming up. As for that, there really are not any *must* have classes, but as always balance is probably a good goal.

I'd have been thrilled to play in this game, but without any rule books whatsoever (still waiting on the postman) it's kind of hard. :\

Kewl... and of course I said I would post every day and then I got swamped at work AND the wife wanted to do "stuff" this weekend

As for the fate of my Iron Kingdom game there Yozosafi, I dropped off the face of the earth a while back when I life got busy and I never picked it back up. The intro part of the game also got lost in the BIG crash we had here last year and I was mighty depressed about that. I want to re-strat it someday BUT I am very worried about the time I would have to run anything AND for Iron Kingdom I would want to POST a lot

Sorry for the treadjack here. I don't have my books with me at work so I will create a character tonight and post it up tomorrow. Human only correct? Just want to be 100% sure

I think the idea for a character that I will create tonight BTW will be a savant with some occulting skills... I love the feel of the magik in Etherscope (very minor) and it is something I am most interested in... BUT I could also very easily play a combatant, newly returned from some far off English war or another

You find the game under cyberpunk on the rpol.net site, it will be easy to find its the only Etherscope game. As for the character idea, sounds good to me but perhaps you should consider the other character sketches--

1. Streetwise sneak
2. Occult studying nun (savant)
3. Upper class gentleman
