His icy blue eyes darted from one creature to the next sizing up the jubilant dwarf with a soft smile. The right ale makes any weary adventurer carefree. He thought silently as he overheard the heavy accented barkeep call out orders to the staff.Slowly reaching up with his slightly dirt stained fingers he pulled back the hood of his red cape revealing his wide nose and round tinted cheeks which spreads wider into a gnomish grin when the barmaid approaches. The gnome gave her the courtesy of a once-over as she recited her sales pitch of which none was really needed. Her joke about his height though noticed went ignored. He begins to speak but finding his voice inhibited by the grime of the road clears his throat and tries again, "Ah! Good eve'nin madam. I'll jus be havin a piping hot cup of tea if you can oblige?". Holding his open palm out with the coin his eyes twinkle, "Tonight can go one of two ways... ", he pitches his own proposition showing the five shiny coppers in his fingerless gloved palm, "Average service...", he gives the coins a shake for emphasis before turning his palm upside down keeping his fingers extended, "OR...", then flipping it over again revealing a single gleaming silver, "Excellent service. Get the picture?".
