Ever have a session like this?

Wanna hear superstition?

My players accuse me of jinxing the dice.

Even when there are no dice because we are playing online.

Even after I went back through all my old logs and showed that they statistically rolled higher than average, they claimed that all of the places they rolled high were 'unimportant rolls'.

I'll show them. I'm keeping track.

Probability will prevail!

I can actually come close to that number, Quickbeam...

I have a white d20 with black numbers. It rolls horribly -- unless you're using it for archery attack rolls.

In one campagin, I played an Arcane Archer. In one night (the showdown of the campaign, pretty much one solid fight all night long) I had fourteen critical threats and only one fumble. That night I used up nearly two hundred arrows.

Just don't ever use that die for a skill check, melee attack roll, or saving throw. It doesn't like that. :)

Here's the crux of it, you know: what does the die LIKE? If you figure that out, why then you'll get good rolls out of it for the stuff it likes. Otherwise, :( .
