Ever use Gestalt Character Rules from Un-Arcana?

For our games with only 3 players, we use the Gestalt rules.

So far, that's been one underdark campaign, one Arcanis campaign and one Scarred Lands campaign.

They've been a lot of fun.

Three gestalt characters seem to be SLIGHTLY more powerful than 4 non-gestalt, but not a lot more. Probably weaker than 5 non-gestalt. Effectively, the rules allow me to run modules written for 'typical' parties of 4-6 characters without having to either increase the levels of the characters or introduce some NPCs to make up for the lacking members.
