I would love to listen to them, but, I can't seem to get my computer to find the file once the download completes. Any chance of putting zipped versions up for download? That way I would be able to choose where the blasted file goes on my hard drive and I would be able to find them.

I've done this twice. Both had lyrics, but only the 1st used any music.

The first was back in the late 80's. It was an elvish ballad to help explain a prophecy for an epic 1-shot adventure. I even played and sang it for my group live.

The more recent was just over a year ago. I just came up with lyrics and borrowed a melody. And instead of singing it, I just typed it up and handed it to the bard when they made the appropriate bardic knowledge check. The song had a clue to a riddle, and also reciting the last line was the key phrase to unlock a magical seal.

If I had more time, I'd love to write more music for my games, but alas, I barely have enough time to get my adventures written.

Not really. I made up some real raunchy pub songs in highschool and played them to set the mood once. We stopped playing D&D about 20 minutes into the adventure and went over to my buddies studio to jam. Hence, no more live music at the D&D table, as it was more conducive to dice chucking than kack and slashing.

I've written music (still do), but not specifically for D&D. I did transcribe some of my music for fife, which a character of mine played. My intent was to have one unique piece for each of her bardic music abilities. It didn't last, as I hate that class, and switched her to rog/sor instead.

What software do you use to write your tunes with?
