EverQuest d20 questions

Now that EverQuest d20 is available a few questions come to mind.
1. Are there rules for spending countless hours begging for magic items and recruiting for 'clans' like in the computer game?

2. Do we have to pay Sony a monthly subscription fee to play this game?

3. Is it as addicted as the real EverCrack? Will we be forced to keep playing the game all day at the expense of work, class, etc.?

A couple of us play EQ in my home game. I told them we are going to start the role playing game. One of my freinds spends hundreds of dollars to buy plat for his twinks. I told in the RPG version he can give me cash and I'll give him good items

2) Only if you want to hire their proffesional GMs. Of course, from what I hear, the unparrallelled knowledge of the inner workings of the game makes for quite an interesting session...
3) Again, that depends on if you go with their proffessional GMs. I've heard that they sometimes bring their own friends to try and get you to join them at times where it is entirely unrealistic for you to be there.
1) This also means that it is entirely possible for you to end up begging for items from a group that plays from a particular GM.
