I never much cared about third party products anyway. Good for them though, I'm glad they can now get 4E products out and hope it works well for them. Maybe I'll even buy something from them in this edition (though I'm atm hopelessly spoiled by the Compendium).

I was wondering about companies that were already producing material for 4E before the GSL was finished. I haven't seen the products, but do the Goodman Games 4E adventures have statblocks in them? Perhaps someone who has any of these can shed some light?

On a related note, does the revised GSL mean that the DCC 3.5 stuff can be sold again?

Morris,

About the statblock thing: One thing I realized working on the 4e tournament module for my local store--I usually change the monster a bit anyway, so I can do a derived stat block and just reference the one or two racial powers back to the MM. It occurred to me last night that there will probably be only about 3-6 of these in a given adventure (for instance all orcs I put in would just have that one iconic orc power). I'm going to pop a convenient list of these in a sidebar at the beginning of the adventure. Then the GM can make a really quick crib sheet of just those powers from the DDI or MM and not have to slowdown actual play. That way, it probably costs about ten minutes total prep time instead of 10-20 of in game time (as you have to stop what you're doing to look up something in a book you might not have handy.) I think that ease of reference would make the adventure much more user friendly. As someone who intends to buy 4e War of the Burning Sky, I'd love to see you do the same for me. :)

I though the lemoncurry "undecided" answer was already a recognized meme!

1. Don't know that meme.
2. The option was Lemoncontract not lemoncurry
3. The much bigger meme is about things like "lemon laws" which protect car buyers from fatally flawed vehicles.
4. As the option put contract and lemon together and the main topic is about a contract it sure seemed to me that was an option about a fatally flawed contract.

I guess it's my (and Kzach) frequent visits to CM then - lemon<anything> is a common nonsense/don'tcare/don'tknow/notcoveredbytheoptions answer. Prepare to see it more often ;)

Egads.

Seriously, if it's that big a problem for you, then there's nothing stopping you from making your own, more perfect, poll.

And the Lemoncurry option schtick has been around EN World for ages (originating elsewhere admittedly, but still quite frequent here).
