Everything in 3.5e doesn't suck!!!

Well, first things first, sweetened tea rocks. Anyone who doesn't think so is itching for a fight

I'd humbly like to apply, and I'm with Zenon about the apparent improvement in the monster stats. Grapple figured out for you? Fantastic!. Full Attack vs Single Attack Stats? Genius! Adding the errata into the rule books so I don't need to haul around reams of paper or dig through my laptop hoping I downloaded the errata I'm looking for? Priceless! Racial Weapon Familiarity? Well, it's about time!

Southern Iced tea rocks, but a good cup of hot Jasmine tea can stir the soul......

I echo Kaji's sentiments about consolidation of errata and the above mentioned changes. But just think of all the new illustrations! And the fact that I have yet another pit in which to dump my $...the only downside I have seen to this point is the new DR - it's just a logistical nightmare for PCs and DMs alike.

Am I open-minded now?

Wow! three posts after technik4s off topic "infused" post **I** get accused of taking this too far. Thats hilarious.

Heck, i would think a thread engineered by me to collect positive comments on 3.5e changes would be met by as much joy and happiness from the yay-sayers as I got the reverse for contrary posts in specific threads.

I mean, what could be better than a thread where people line up one after another to say nice things about 3.5e? Heck, this is so positive a thing, touching so many lives, that I should perhaps thank the guy who gave me the idea.

On another not, harm will be revised, grapples and AoOs will be explained, and layouts fixed. If for no other reason, that is a good step for the game.

Agreed. The exact preparation varies by the type of tea. Still, I almost never put sugar in any tea -- except for iced tea. I'm too much the southerner to avoid that, I suppose....

Oh, and for "things that don't suck about 3.5e": revising spells to make them more clear and better balanced.

12-1... not bad for the first day.

I think everyone has used up all the hints I know, but here's one. The 3.5 PHB won't have its cover falling off like my current core books

I like almost everything so far about 3.5e. I like the changes to Haste, Damage Reduction, and the idea of changes to the ranger, monk, and bard as well as spells like harm. Oh, and the better layout <especially of the monster manual> and clarifications are cool.

Only downside so far is the new Pit Fiend and my problem with that is a minor one. The 3.0 Pit Fiend was not powerful enough and was not a CR 16 creature in my opinion. I like the new stats and I think that they better match what I think I Pit Fiend should be able to do, but I don't think it is a CR 16 creature either. I think they should keep the new stats that are posted for 3.5 and bump up the listed CR.

So yeah. I'll just have a pepsi and skip the tea.

Wait, I totally misread what this thread was about. I didn't realize we were talking about positive aspects of 3.5, must be word association.

In that case, this was a super idea. I think there should be more feel-good threads like this, especially in the rules forum - oh oops, its moved already.

Well anyway, this is the best thread Ive seen about 3.5 yet.
