The Sleeping Chambers fill with a holy light. Dazzling points of light pop up throughout the room, all over the place, and with them comes a flowing melody of heavenly song...
Many, MANY will saves of DC12. Both FireKing and the Hunter's minimum will save is over 12 however, so you make all your saves. On the other hand, all 30 of your Air Mephits in the room have a mere will save of +3. All of them fail at least once. The luckiest one fails only 19 times... the unlucky ones fail much more than that. Fortunately, the negative effects don't stack. All your mephits in the room suffer -2 AC, -2 BAB, -2 All Saving Throws I'm not going to tell you exactly how many of these things there are, because they're all moving about and indistinguishable from each other... with so many, you can't get a count without magical aid (Mordenkainen's Adding Abacus, anyone?)
The Air Mephits go into a fury, dashing at the lights, using their breath weapons. And the balls of light strike back as well. The Mephits use every weapon at their command... their breath weapons mostly... but not one of them manages to hit a single ball of light (before the FireKing's Initiative comes up) On the other hand, the lights swarm around a single Mephit, and manage to slaughter it with much effort. The poor little Mephit dodged around quite a bit, but eventually, the little nicks and scratches were just too much. The room is swarming. The ravens are almost completely through the mirror (getting 300 ravens through a 5'x2' space is not an instantaneous matter, after all)... but now there is a new hitch. The ravens were heading out through to the rest of the cavern. But now, they're hitting an invisible wall, and knocking themselves out like sparrows into a picture window. FireKing... your move.
