No such thing as "vacation" when you own a business

Easy Jeff, aren't you suppose to be on vacation anyways? :)

Can't go on "vacation" unless I tie up all these loose ends. If I knew there was a printing issue, I would not have pushed an Open World Press bundle on Sunday night.

I could have notified the customer of the issue sooner giving him more time to shop for a gift for his friends (which several of these bundles were for).

I should have gotten an email or a phone call INSTANTLY considering I've given them my cell phone number and specifically asked both Doug and/or Hal to call me ASAP, at least on Friday. I could have gotten something underway to fix the problem. I didn't just send one email or just made one phone call. I've been on this issue since Thursday, making multiple pleas to Mrs. Herring on the phone and via emails.

I have seriously failed this customer. I REALLY hate failing. I'll need to find an adequate substitute to the bundles and then 2 day them to the customers on Monday, costing ME money, to make up the time difference and get them to their destinations by Christmas.

It would have been amazing what a simple phone call to me could have prevented.

I'm not upset about the printer issue. S**T happens. Giving me a phone call was completely within their ability and control, however.

Ignoring retailers and customers is a WotC type thing to do. Mystic Eye Games isn't large enough (IMHO) to be acting this way. This is the root of my disappointment. I really thought they were different.

Jeff,

I apologize for any inconvenience this delay has caused you and your customers. It is very disappointing to hear this news.

While we always try to deliver quality goods in a timely fashion, there can be glitches along the way. I hope you and your customers can forgive us.

I appreciate your understanding.

Ed, it's not about the printer issues. It is about the simple fact that I can't get a response out of Doug or Hal on this. This is a customer service issue.

I still haven't gotten a phone call or email.

I've pulled all the Open World Press bundles and substituted another bundle.

The real shame is that Mystic Eye Games is now a "side-business" as Mrs. Herring calls it. I hope all the people Mystic Eye Games carries have their D20 business as a side business too, for their sakes.
