D&D 5E Exodus (OOC)

Roll call time! Who is still here and ready to play? My plan is to get the IC thread going again on January 8th. However, if everyone is here and ready to play, I'll get a post up on January 1st.

Sounds good.

I'm not sure what class to push Doctor Sanduine into... I was thinking wizard initially, but I think we already have one? I could perhaps go a different specialty route. Or perhaps delve into warlock...

I am looking at Ranger, but I am curious about something. The more martial classes (fighter, ranger, rogue) don't really have any abilities at level 1 that are obviously unnatural or even necessarily unusual. Would someone like Juno, as a ranger, really be aware of any changes coming over her at this stage?

I mean, next level the spells kick in, and then things get more obviously strange...but at level 1 there's not much like that going on. :)

Oh! Also. If I may pule for a bit of GM intercession and ask if 'Dragon' is a decent choice for Favored Enemy? It really REALLY suits her concept, but I don't want to pick something that will be a waste of a class feature. If we aren't to fight any dragons within the span of time covered by the game, I can pick something else.

Dragon is definitely an optimum choice. ;) Regarding weird stuff in character for a ranger - Natural Explorer could be applied to the ship itself, meaning you'll never get lost on the ship, you can track people in the ship (which is rather exceptional given the metal floors) and other uncanniness. :D

Regarding Dr. Sanduine, I though the concept was going to be Warlock initially, with a Great Old One pact? Am I misremembering?
