I like the cover, although it really looks like it belongs more on a revised Deities and Demigods than this book.

By the way, is the page count of the new version supposed to be greater than the old?

Pretty cool. Is it just me, or does this book not fall into the typical brown/blue/red scheme of the core books? Looks yellow/gold (from what I could tell--maybe wrong, of course).

Of course, I'm really curious about the content--wonder if it'll be the 6 Psion classes + the 1 psychic warrior class, or if it'll be more like the d20 Modern psychic classes (Telepath & Battle Mind, IIRC--one more mentally-focused, the other more physically-focused).

From what Bruce Cordell said back in the first preview of the book in Dragon 313 (or so) that the new book had about 80 more pages than the old one, so around 220 pages or so, IIRC

I'm with Oni on this one. I think it looks okay, but its too cluttered, too busy. Overally, I am not a big fan of alot of the 3.x covers. I like covers with pictures. The Draconomicon is great as are the books with a portrait or scene on them like Complete Warrior.

As for the contents, its a big 'meh' as far as I am concerned. I don't have a problem with psionics nor do I really like them.

This one has been on my "must buy" list since I first heard about it. I like the cover and wish the book was out sooner too. Good thing it is April though, that's when I get my next dividend checks. I'll be able to afford it! :D
