Expanded Psionics Handbook?

Stupid question from a nurse who just worked a very long 12hour night shift: is the Expanded Psionics Handbook a replacement for the old Psionics Handbook or an add-on suppliment type book thingy?

Also: Is it any good?

While I have heard some complaints about certain powers/etc. in the new book, I have not heard anyone say it wasn't much better.

So yeah, you should get it.

The XPH (Expanded Psionics Handbook) is a great read, but you can get most if not all of the info from a player's perspective from here:

If you're the DM and you end up getting the book, it's nice to know your players don't have to shell out for it too.

Yep, it's much better (3.0 PsiHB was utter crap; 3.5 XPH is not really good, but it's okay at least).
