Hey Rodrigo, I realise this is a six month old post but I've just come across it so I wanted to say it is possible, as Morrus said in his reply, that you can make a living as an independent game publisher but I'll warn you that it is incredibly hard. Doing it for fun, or to make some side money is a LOT easier. Doing it so you can make a living it an ENTIRELY different exercise. I've been doing it for four years now, almost five actually not I think about it. I work an average of 65 hours a week, and I'd say that has gone down a bit since the early years. Do I love it? Yes. Is it exhausting? Sometimes. Has it made me rich? Not yet but I make a living (I can pay my bills) and I get to write and create both games and RPG content for a living, I still think that's pretty damned cool. Would I ever stop? Nope. I'll take this job over any I've had before and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. So it can be done, but you have to work like a demon, be flexible, be creative and make sure you price your products at a rate that is reasonable for customers and can make you a living. And if that sounds too scary, then do it for extra money alongside a day job. That's still a great way to be creative. Regards Stephen
