im looking at blasphemy and it sends extraplaner beings back to their home plane (NO SAVE)
alot of demons and devils have Blasphemy, its one hell of away to get rid of most of the party and finsh off whats left

Yeah, extraplanar is any creature from another plane, so pcs in Hell, outsiders on the Prime, elementals not at home, etc. There are even some extraplanar constructs (the inevitables and the like) from the MotP.

Couldn't tell you off-hand, but this question has been answered by the Sage, iirc, and you might look in the FAQ as well.

I did a quick check in the glossary in the PH and it doesn't have 'extraplanar' in it, but believe me, it means exactly that- from another plane. Outsiders aren't extraplanar on their home plane, nor are elementals, but if they are on another plane they are. Likewise, a pc is extraplanar if it's not on its home plane.

Another good example here is the planetouched races- they're outsiders, but native to the Prime (the FR book coined the term 'native outsiders').

Yeah, part of the nastiness of the powerful outsiders is that they can pull this sort of evil stuff... Gotta love them demons and devils!

Even better: Have the demons gate in the characters to serve them.

I prefer char-grilled, with peanut sauce, on a bed of jasmine rice.
