Eyeball..

First Post
I'm looking for a pdf or something of the info on the beholderkin eyeball, I curious about its potential as a familiar but I can't seem to find anything on it. I know its in Monster of Faerun but I don't own that book.

Any help would be appreciated.

www.rpgnow.com TSR/WotC previous editions downloads. "I, Tyrant" a sourcebook on beholders should have at least some second edition information on them. I would imagine the 2e Monstrous Manual would as well.

Beholders are not OGC so don't expect much 3e material on them or their variants. I don't know if Lords of Madness has stuff on them but WotC sells it in electronic form at www.dtrpg.com, but at full cover price for the book.

The goodman games Guide to Beholders for 3e I don't think has anything on the eyeball kin that I remember from their monster section of that book. But it is available in pdf and has lots of neat beholder cult stuff.

I don't think Eyeballs appeard until 3rd edition. The only source I know of with stats is Monsters of Faerun. I'm pretty sure the Forgotten Realms CS lists them as an option for the Improved Familiar feat but doesn't stat them out.

I'm not sure if eyeballs are in there but it's a very fun book. That and The Illithiad are excellent, useful products for anyone using beholders or mind flayers.

I, Tyrant has no information on eyeballs, neither does Lords of Madness, they come from Monsters of Faerun. As familiars, their greatest feature is being able to deliver your touch spells with a short range eye ray.
