Fable finally has a release date...

I wouldn't say that's around the corner, especially because consoles are usually only around for 4-5 years. 1.5 of those years is a about a third. Around the corner, to me, means about 6 months. For example, Fable's release date is right around the corner. Again, it's probably just me and not worth arguing over.

Nah, I'd agree with you on that one fall/winter next year isn't around the corner, it's around a bunch of corners. It's hard to think of something we know nothing about as being close.

No, for a number of reasons, though ultimately I just don't like to travel, so it's something I'm not likely to do. I might eventually go once just because it’s GenCon.

Now if there was a GenCon East/NE held somewhere in NY/NE I’d much more likely to go.

I think it might appeal to PC gamers as well, and Molyneaux's name would carry some ait with them.
