What price drop? I was thinking of picking up an X-Box to go with my new HDTV, and noticed that Target had them for $149.99. Is that the new price or are they going to drop further?

I've seen them advertised for $119.99 in my local GameStop, IIRC.

It was origianlly $300, so...

Anyway I haven't even seen any rumors about another price drop, so you should be safe getting it at $150. But if you want to be sure and don't mind waiting, the holiday season is when they would act.

mmu1, $120 was probably for a used system.

I belive so... at least I hope so. The X-Box has been in dire need of a good RPG. I wasn't exactly crazy about Morrowind.
Neither was I. But KotOR was amazing, and, unlike Fable, takes more than twenty hours to finish. Fable may be beautiful and amazingly free-form in some respects, but given the mind-bogglingly short game they've ended up with, well... I'll rent it for a weekend just to be sure (like I did with Morrowind, which got good reviews but I had a feeling I wouldn't like it), but I'm thinking I'll pass on a purchase.

First Sudeki, and then Fable have ended up as micro-RPGs; is it too much to ask for an Xbox RPG to have at least 35 hours of gameplay without going after every side quest in the game?

20-25 hours? That's disappointing. I liked Morrowind and Arx Fatalis, but didn't love them. I was hoping Fable was going to be at least as satisfying, and for me part of that is length.

Guess I still need to wait for Jade Empire and KOTOR2 - Fable looks like a rental.
