Failing to meet prestige class requirements

I'd like a little clarification, if I could.

According to RAW, what happens if you have levels in a prestige class with a set of specific requirements, and then no longer meet those requirements? If the PrC has an alignment requirement, or something like that? Do you lose access to all of the class features of the PrC other than hit dice and BAB and skill ranks? Or are you just fine?

It probably depends on the PrC, but in general in d20 once you gain a PrC, you never lose any of its abilities. The prerequisites are only qualifications to take the PrC in the first place, not to maintain it.

For instance, in Complete Warrior (and in other places), it calls out that, should you no longer meet a PrC's prereqs, that you lose all benefits of the class aside from Hit Dice, BAB, and saves.

I agree. The requirements are what is take to *be* the PrC, not just to start being it. Same as with feats.

If your Str drops below 13, you can't use Powerattack. If your alignment becomes good, you can't be an assasin.

He rapidly and continuously cycles back and forth between being a half-dragon, and losing all of the abilities of the Dragon Disciple class (including dragon apotheosis, which gives him the half-dragon template), and not being a half-dragon, and gaining all of the abilities for the Dragon Disciple class (including dragon apotheosis, which disqualifies him again).
