Fair way to get rid of player?

I was not endorsing dropping the player. I was expressing complete astonishment and incredulity at the suggestion. And the original poster was a troll anyways. I'm surprised so many people actually rose to the bait and suggested ways of dropping a player.
Yep, I know. :p

And if you compare my first post in this thread with my second post in this thread, you'll note that I wasn't exactly very serious in either of them. :o

I'm sorry if I caused you any confusion or stress, TiQuinn. :)

I appreciate all the *reasonable* suggestions that have been made here (cannibalizing the extra player is not a viable option). I'll let you know later how it works out.

Do you have to boot one player permanently? Why not make it a shifting turn; so that one player always misses a session, but it isn't always the same person.

If you have a group of seven people the chances are that at least one of the will have better things to do than game that evening anyway. ;)

I got a songs about bugaboos on a cd somewhere. I think they were invented by Kroft television in the late 60's.

Don't worry your little head about it. You didn't. :)

You could have one player use a small tv tray(it does work, i've seen it), and position him around the group.

If cost of food for the game is getting high then cut out the snacks, or buy cheap generic products.
