Fallout – Season Two Teaser Trailer | Prime Video

Wowzers! There's a lot to unpack there.

At 2:07, there are multiple BoS airships! IIRC, if you ask Captain Kells in Fallout 4 if the BoS has other airships, he says there were some more rudimentary ones out on the west coast years ago. I guess they're still in operation. Or else the east coast BoS has built more like the Prydwen? It's hard to tell what exactly is going on there ... and I wonder who is in the power armor next to Maximus.

As someone who's spent a ton of time building my own settlements in Fallout 4 lately, including Vault 88, I really love the show's attention to detail. I recognize so many little things from the game - from the Giddyup Buttercup in the room Lucy wakes up in at 0:55 to the junk fences by the motel pool at 1:55 to the red-and-white checkered patterns in the vault cafeteria at 2:11.

If the scene at 1:51 of Cooper looking fully human while wearing power armor is any indication, he didn't become a ghoul right away after the bombs fell!

Kinda surprised to see the suicidal snake oil salesman is back, but I guess he is a memorably quirky character! I wonder if we'll see a ghoulified Thaddeus as well.

Looking forward to Lucy's first encounter with a deathclaw! I can waste 'em like candy now with my Splattercannon (at level 100+), but that first one you meet in Concord is hella scary when you're so low level.

I don't like that this is on Prime, but I'm going to have to swallow my pride and pay up to watch this.

I guess I may also have to give Fallout: New Vegas another go - I presume the "it all started here with one man" is a reference to someone in that game? After watching season 1, I bought both F:NV and F4 on Steam. I tried NV first but didn't really like it so went with F4 instead. (Having watched the show first, I didn't like that New Vegas wasn't told from the point of view of a Vault dweller, like Fallout 4 is. Plus the graphics are just really dated in New Vegas.)

Okie dokie!

Lots.... LOTS of New Vegas references here. Tom Slattery was a perfect choice for House.

@pukunui; New Vegas is the closest new Fallout ever got to classic Fallout. It's definitely a different experience not coming out of a vault, and your lack of any real history to the place is probably the weakest part about it (at least until one of the DLCs turns all of that on its head). If you can get past the graphics I'd highly recommend it. It's a fan favorite for a reason. It's the only FPS Fallout that covers any of the regional politics from the show, and this season in particular is pulling A LOT from it.

No super mutants yet
Are there any super mutants in New Vegas?

So that guy who says he knows everything is in the New Vegas game?

Gotcha. Maybe when I'm finished my latest Fallout 4 playthrough, I'll redownload New Vegas and give it another go.

Not a ton, but not none.

I will add that as a Boone-enthusiast I absolutely appreciated the reference to Novac
I don't know what that means ... but I'm guessing if I play New Vegas I will?

EDIT: Watching the teaser again. In the scene where Lucy wakes up in that room, there's not just a Giddyup Buttercup by the bed, there's a box of Sugar Bombs cereal on the desk! It looks just like the boxes you can find in the Commonwealth!

EDIT 2: At 1:46, we see Maximus in a vertibird. He's smiling at the pilot, and then they fist bump. A new friend maybe?

EDIT 3: The people being attacked by radroaches at 2:08 are all wearing Vault 31 jumpsuits but that doesn't look like a vault - more like an office of some kind. I wonder what's going on there!
