I recommend checking out Darwin's World II for ideas. It's the best-done Post Apocalypse setting around right now, and has a wealth of material that could spur the creative juices!

I'm a fanboy for PA material, so when you are done I'll be among the first to download :)

Good to hear that there are some out there who still like the genre!

I've milked Darwin's World a bit, and many other sources as well - my Fallout D20 has elements of...

All the Fallout CRPG's, Materials, Bibles, and nearly every bit of material, fan-based and otherwise, available on the net.

Wasteland CRPG
The Postman (the book more so than the movie)
On the Beach
Earth Abides
Mad Max Trilogy
Atomic Cafe'
The Dark Tower Series
A Canticle for Leibowitz and St. Leibowitz and the Wild Horse Woman
The Visitor
Lucifer's Hammer
Dr. Strangelove
Rifts (I played this for about 8 years)
and I'm a Lovecraft fan - so there is a touch of CoC in there too
and so very much more...

Count me in, I'd even playtest under NDA! I love the above thing myself,
and adore the PA setting (but not a fan of Darwin's World, sorry)

Wow - How could I forget Gamma World
I've done research into many of the different Gamma World incarnations
From the original to some fan-based Alternity stuff - to the current D20 edition.

Gamma World I have found to be a bit more fantastical than the world of Fallout, which is intended to be bleak and hard-as-nails, but I've included all kinds of rare, advanced technology that can be gleaned from the ruins.

Besides - I'm just writing it - the whole point is to add and expand the scope to include as much of the PA genre as possible.

I'm eager to accept any ideas, art submissions, requests, anything that the community can share

Fallout- one of the best PA games around!

In terms of settings, glad you added in the Mad Max element. If you want a Road Warriors kind of element (really old computer game- it may be available somewhere still in its four color glory) the old Car Wars rules were excellent for this element (board game - also circa the early eighties)

Me- when this arrives I will be downloading it for sure! Gotta agree with your Gamma World classification- it has always had the feel of science fiction D&D with psionics instead of magic!

Good Work!

I would love to see what have you done with this game. I am a BIG Fallout fan. Keep up the work, I am sure it will be worth it! :D

Were you planning to make any signifigant changes to the combat system? I ran a d20 Fallout campaign once, but the guns never felt very fallout-y. No critical hits to the eyes and groin, no 500 damage minigun criticals, etc.
