Fallout: worth picking up?

I've never gone to those forums, I think the ones at Duck and Cover are better, but I have no recollection of what the site address for that is!

Anyone know which patch I should get? I tried the 1.05 Eng one and it just crashed. :\

Well, Bioshock is on tap now, so I'll put Fallout on hold. Oh, I got Dogmeat right after my last post. Does a lot of damage to unarmored targets. Does he have any other tricks to discover?

Not as far as I recall, though he does pretty good damage against everything (and the knock down is the real gravy as it costs AP to stand). Main thing to be careful of are auto weapons against him and other like effects.
