Pretty much what this says. Since official support is all but done, im wondering where the fans are gathering to keep 4th alive.
IDK Russ, not sure I would consider ENWorld as a whole a bastion for the 4e fan. Far more forum traffic for NEXT,.PF, and 3.5. Heck even 13th age is getting as much or more traction than 4e.
That said,. I am not sure there is any place better than ENWorld either.
The GSL also limits format of licenced products to hard copies or PDFs and does not allow content on websites, blogs, forums. (Section 3.) Technically any website generating content violates the GSL.There's lots of fan sites; generally if you find one it will have links to the other.
I don't know how many of them can generate content though, due to GSL restrictions. (I carefully read the document, for instance. I can make an NPC weaponmaster and distribute it, but not an Essentials knight, because the former is in the GSL and not the latter.)
Some of the 4e sites aren't generic, limiting their appeal.
