Fan's Choice for Best Publisher Nomination Thread

I'll third Paizo, I think Dragon and Dungeon are becoming even more fantastic each issue. In addition, they are moving into publishing with the Shackled City and Best Of... coming out soon. All in all, great stuff from the staff at Paizo.

I agree with most of the other nominations. Here's a nomination for Goodman Games.

In other words, good picks guys and seconded for Goodman Games

I'm going to nominate EN Publishing - they are barred from participating in the ENnies itself for conflict of interest reasons - but hey, I do the counting of the votes and I'm not a member of any publisher - so if this nomination is confirmed Denise will have to go the night without knowing the winner of at least one award :p

Well, since the judges and staffers are weighing in...

BTW, I'm not dissing any of the other fine nominations (well, except for those slackers at ENPublishing), but I want to bring up the subject of another excellent company that may have been overlooked:

I'd like to nominate Paradigm Concepts.

Their involvement in the RPGA through Living Arcanis is untouchable. Sure, they may not be the belles of the ball here on ENWorld, but when you see them in action at a convention, it's an RPG force of nature: they don't get time to socialize, the whole team is constantly running events. It's not an easy feat, putting out modules like that on a regular basis, with a constantly evolving world, but they manage to pull it off, and it's awesome to know as a player that your actions could affect not only your game, but the one that everyone else plays.

Important: Please Note

A publisher only needs a nomination and a second for consideration. Anything else, and you're wasting your voice. I've tallied up those who have received nominations and seconds (and added this warning) to the first post of this thread to help y'all keep track. If you thirded someone, or nominated someone who had already been seconded, please edit your post and pick someone else. This is not the voting process- that will start the 25th, this is merely the nomination thread.

Don't forget, these don't have to be d20 publishers, nor large press- so long as they released product between June of 2004 and May 2005 they can be nominated.

And thanks Michael for the thought, but in the interests of fairness, EN Publishing cannot accept the nomination.

I'd just point out that this isn't a thread for voting. That comes later. This is a thread for nominating (and seconding) those companies which will be put to a vote in a later stage. So once a company is nominated and seconded, further posts on their behalf don't really serve a purpose.
