Fantasy MnM supplement - original stuff or DnD conversion?

whydirt

First Post
I'm considering putting together an MnM Superlink product that would work as a supplement to run fantasy games using the MnM rules. Before I get too deep into it, I'd like to know what kinds of things would be useful in such a product. My main concern is whether there is a stronger desire for a conversion of DnD races and classes over more original race ideas and hero archtypes.

I'm also willing to hear any other suggestions of what you might like to see in such a product.

Thanks,
Jonathan

For me, one of the big things would be getting the races right. One nice thing about M&M is that not every race has to be exactly as powerful as all the others: you can just have the more powerful ones cost more.

Actually.. as somebody dming a game where I am using the Mutants&Masterminds Rules for character creation.. the SovStone Magic System, and the Combat rules from D&D3.0, the most useful thing for me would be a kind of Monster Manual of creatures stats.. with multiple stat blocks.. 1 for Standard M&M and one with the HP variant.

Personally.. I would also like to see different humans archetypes.. for example a Norseman, a Saracen, a Highlander, a Italian Knifefighter.. that kind of thing..

I'm actually planning on including converted SRD monsters (and maybe some original creations) as part of the work.

Honestly, I doubt I'll use directly historical human archtypes, but I plan on having some DnD staples as well as some ideas of my own.

By this, I assume you mean that races don't have to directly convert over from the DnD stats? My plan was to include brief direct conversions of the DnD races (with pp costs) and then include variant racial templates of my own creation.
