Good call on this. I've only read vol 1 so far today, but I love it.

I loved the Realm and Lodoss War

I wonder if Poison Elves counts? Maybe not, it's focused on the titular character Lusipher

Webcomic, but Goblins. Though the whole party is goblins.

Edit -- and damn, how could I forget Order of the Stick! Web- and print-comic. D&D-based, sure, but not official D&D.
