Fantasy Web Comics

Not fantasy but SF - I recently got introduced to A Miracle of Science. Sadly it is about to go on hiatus for a while. The idea of Mad Science as a disease is entertaining, and I have to think of a way to use the phrase 'Brazil thinks you're cute.' in a game.

Also entertaining is Return to Donnelly about a U.S. soldier who has been pulled into a fantasy world... and discovers that he has been there before.

The Auld Grump, and Mixed Myth has just ended.

I'll second Errant Story (linked to above). Not wholly grandma-friendly, and the progress of the plot (not the actual updates, which are usually reliable) is fairly slow, but the art is good, the story is interesting, the world feels properly thought-out and it has a nice mix of high fantasy, lowbrow humour and the occasional piece of unexpected pathos.

Girl Genius is now a web comic; apparently when they do enough of them, they'll collect them in print editions. The '101' section is for the stuff already published in print comics and collections, while the 'Advanced' is the full color new stuff.

It's a steam-age fantasy with Clanks, Jaegermonsters, a cunning baron with an airship city, a talking cat, and a young woman named Agatha Clay.

Check out Broken Saints.

I've been doing some research on webcomics (particularly animated) recently, as it's an area that I hope to delve into, and I just found this webcomic. It's Flash heavy, so slower connections beware. I haven't seen very much of it yet, but it looks really cool so far.

Also, Spider Cliff Mysteries looks pretty cool. Animated and interactive web comic.

Broken Saints is...amazing. Let me add my recommendation to it, and reiterate the warning that it is VERY bandwidth intensive. Its not fantasy per se, but still well worth watching.
