Far Shot Question

I am sure this is obvious but I wanted to verify since it is not explict. Does the Far Shot feat extend the maximum range of a weapon? And does it apply to all weapons? Thanks.

It applies to all range weapons increasing the base range by 50%. So a longbow's range increment goes from 100ft to 150ft, allowing it to fire at something up to 1500ft away.

And thrown weapons have their range increment doubled, i think, but can only be thrown at a maximum of 5 increments, whereas bows and crossbows shoot at a maximum of 10 range increments. Yes you could shoot an arrow 1650ft with a composite longbow, but you'd have -20 to hit...

-18, actually. The first range increment doesn't recieve the -2 pentalty.
