Fargo FLGS?

Sam

First Post
Continuing my mission of visiting a FLGS in every city I visit for business, can someone point me to a good FLGS in Fargo, ND? I figure that a city with a large college population should have a decent selection of gaming stores.

I'm also going to Bismark, though won't have much time there.

Any recommendations?

I moved out of Fargo two years ago, but OMNI Games should still be there on Main Ave. Best store in the city--well, to all intents and purposes, the _only_ game store in the city. Still, they've got a pretty broad selection, even if they do shrinkwrap everything.

There's one across the river in Moorhead, in the strip mall on the Northeast side, although I don't recall the name. Not as much of a selection, but they don't shrinkwrap and tend to have a better bargain bin selection.

Media Play on the corner of 45th St and 13th Ave SW in Fargo had some RPG stuff as well, and put some of it on sale every so often, too.

Hi Matt! I actually think I might know who you are :)

Sam: I agree completely..OMNI is the best game store in town. The one in Moorhead has some good deals on OOP stuff, at least I've been lucky there before. If I had to choose though, it'd be Omni.

I beleive the one in Moorehead is called the Games Hut

That's it! Now that I think about it, it's in a string of stores between a K-Mart and a grocery store.

And Teneb was right--OMNI has the better selection, but the Hut is more likely to give discounts on OOP material of a few years' vintage.

(Teneb, given that you're in Rochester, it's quite possible our paths have crossed. :-) )
