John Crichton

And interesting TV documentary broadcast about the Moya aliens visiting earth. The signal is intercepted by Moya and John watches it for clues as to Aeryn's location...
I have to say that while this ep didn't move the plot forward a ton it raised a ton of great questions about humanity and the like that I adored. We got lots of footage of the aliens interacting with things on Earth and alot of "home video" footage that John's nephew took. I loved the part where he begs D'argo to tongue-zap him. Classic young teenager!
The rest of the crew's interactions on Earth was great as well. The observations of the aliens by the people in the documentary were an interesting mix of psychological, religious, scientific and mundane. Rygel's gluttony, Chiana's eccentric behavior, Noranti's religious views, D'argo's military views, Aeryn in general as the most human looking. All great. I had to overlook the fact that only Aeryn and Sizoku know English and had no idea how anyone on Earth without the translator microbes would be able to understand a word the others were saying. But that is minor.
This episode showed the show's versitility and ability to give a good look at ourselves. That is something that great science fiction does, teaches us something about humanity or simply asks good questions. Next week's looks great as well as we may finally see what Scorpy is REALLY up to....
