Farscape Cliffhanger

Why, oh why, are they so cruel? Other than the fact that this cliffhanger is eerily similar to last season's finale, I think it was pretty good.

Overall I thought the episode was one of the stronger ones this season, and I expected a cliffhanger based around "the pebble" dropped in the past, so the surprise was nice.

What did you think?

I just realized - I taped it last Friday, but haven't watched it yet! :( Pardon me, I need to go immediately to my VCR...

Yeah it will be interesting to see Criton get out of this one. So long as they don't just send a shuttle after him, or some other mega simple solution, i'll be happy.

Anyone want to bet he is in the past too?

Yes, some basic problems I had. The episode was good and in some fashion overdue. But it was basically the same cliffhanger as last time. Only less annoying. Last time it took several eps for the series to recover from the cliffhanger. Dropping him off at Earth was a very nice touch and it's a bold leap. I hope it's not in the past but would not be surprised if it was.

So far this season has been very strange. I have enjoyed it, but it has taken some getting used to. I do like the parallel
between the way last season ended and this mid-season cliffhanger. Personally I don't think he is stuck back in time. I am very interested in seeing how he is going to get down to earth. Maybe he can survive re-entry in his space suit. ;)

New episodes of this season start up in January of 2003, if I remember what I read on SciFi.com correctly.
