They had a "proof" copy at Origins. It was softcover but the booth dude said it was HC. The book is thick!

Talked to the guys at AEG during Origins. The book is at the printer, which means 5-8 weeks (since it is full color throughout and hardcover) of printing time. Their desire was to have copies for sale at GenCon, "or somebody's gonna die."

Just FYI, printers do normally have variable times like that, and usually, a bit of negotiation will get a book delivered a bit faster. I have no doubt everyone will see it in late August (unless you're at GenCon, in which case pick one up for me

Also got a chance to leaf through the softcover promo copy. Very few illustrations -- everything is photos! I found it beautiful and well organized. Frankly, I didn't see anything missing, except what you can get from the SRD.
