Woohoo!! Two other Wisconsinites in the thread! It's a party! w00t!
I live just south of Madison (about 40 minutes away -- the Blanchardville/Hollandale area).
Anyways, back on topic -- this book sounds neato. Do you know off-hand if they carry it at Pegasus Games? (I think only Madisonians and the like will be able to answer this one)
How are the adventures? Good variety in settings, length, and levels of adventure? Are any unusually creative? I haven't seen the product yet, haven't been to the local gaming store in a few weeks.
Yes crothian to all of the above the first few adventures are low level and it works its way up to very high 18th
The setting pretty much cover the gamut of possibilities with cities and dungeons. It also has recurring villians This book could be played as a campaign or as bween adventure adventures.
Your bound to find at least a few of the scenarios to your liking. And besides the spiral Hardcover concept is so cool
Well, Thank You, Lady Dragon. Those were the only things I was really worried about. They even re use villians? That's better then I could have hoped. This truely sounds like a good purchase. I'll need to wipe the dust off my DM's screen when I get it.
That's interesting. Does it tie them all together, or only certain ones? Is it a story story or more of a back plot to set up withing a campaign to help the adventures along?
Basically the story is somewaht simple apparently there was a group of adventurers who saved the world many years ago and they left behind many treasures for your group to find.I imagine that's the reason for the title.
