The spear slays the canyon; fends off the throw of the star!

Malandor attempts finishing move to slay his opponent, or mortally wound him at the least. He uses his strength to try to fend off whatever he can throw at him.

The manticore lies in the midst of the peaks; negates the assailment of the iron!

Fastacalon lies in wait, waiting for the time to strike and seeing it, lunges for the kill. While performing his attack he attempts to sidestep the spear and negate Malandor's attack.

There is a long pause, during which the judge does not move. "After some deliberation, it was decided that Fastacalon's attack and defense combination was enough to triumph over Malandor's attack and defense combination. Therefore, the flag and the match go to Fastacalon. Fastacalon becomes a Yellow Belt 1, and may choose a path. His record becomes 1-0. Malandor becomes a Thug Down on Luck. His record becomes 1-2." The judge turns slightly, toward Fastacalon. "You must choose a path. You may enter the Light, Honor, Yen, or Yakuza paths. Choose now." It pauses expectantly.

"Very well. You are now a Yellow Belt 1. You may have a Signature Style and a Dojo Style, and you have the ability Fist of Fury. Go here to learn about your chosen path. Do not forget to update your status for the records. I wish you both luck in all future endeavors."
