The tingling means it’s working!
It's lame to adventure for 5 minutes of game time (say, four 5-round combats and 3 minutes of exploration) then be forced to camp out for 24 hours because you're out of spells and hit points.
Is there a good solution to this issue?
Maybe have lower level spells (and up to half your hit points) come back after just 4 hours of rest, instead of 8?
Or speed up only HP regeneration, but let casters who have expended their spells/day burn HP to power spells (5 HP per spell level)?
