Its about Paul more specificly. His "weapon of choice" was the "voice." Thus

"Don't be alarmed by the sound of my voice, check out my new weapon, my weapon of choice."

All the lyrics are about Paul in some way. "My girl, she don't understand, its become much mpre than being a man..."
